Early years

Born on 24 October, 1985, in Croxteth, Liverpool, Wayne Rooney grew up with his parents and two younger brothers. Wayne’s talent on the pitch was noted early on, and at the tender age of nine, he had already scored an impressive 99 goals for his local football team.

Football career

Everton scouts quickly picked up on Wayne’s talents, and he was signed up to the youth team. In 2002, Wayne made his professional debut with his beloved Everton, and his skills on the pitch soon made headlines.

Private life

Wayne married his childhood sweetheart, Coleen McLoughlin, in 2008. They have beautiful children together.
